Beautiful skin for your wedding day

Ensuring your complexion is radiant and glowing for our wedding day may come easy to many brides but not all.

There are many things you can do with good preparation and routine. I have been a beauty therapist for many years and it helps me in my career as a Makeup and Hair Artist to understand some basic concepts. You can learn them too!

Makeup may only cover so much on the big day, even with the help of an amazing makeup artist. Skin is the largest organ of our bodies, so it is essential we look after it.

DRINK WATER – flushes toxins, clears the system, hydrates skin. It works!

EAT HEALTHY- add more fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet.

EXERCISE- important to fitness, endorphin levels, stimulates muscles, blood and lymph to work more effectively. Helps you gain a trim body too.

CLEANSE SKIN DAILY AND ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT – cleanse twice – first to remove dirt and makeup and second to clean the face, using a face cloth helps a lot.

EXFOLIATE WEEKLY WITH GENTLE EFFECTIVE PRODUCT – removes dead skin cells to promote fresh new glowing skin! Aids penetration of moisturiser, which is most important.

USE A QUALITY MOISTURIZER AM AND PM – it protects, feeds and maintains hydration levels of skin. Choose correct one for your skin type.

MONTHLY SKIN TREATMENT FOUR MONTHS PRIOR TO WEDDING DATE (NOT FIRST ONE WEEK BEFORE WEDDING!) – The massage element to a facial releases toxins, encourages blood and lymph to renew and nourish skin cells, stimulates the facial muscles and releases and relaxes nerve endings and tensions. Steam aids cleansing process.
